This course is intended to prepare elementary resource teachers to teach using the My Sidewalks (Levels A-E) and Early Reading Intervention programs, which are Tier 3 reading programs that are on the current list of USBE Evidence-Based Tiered Programs. This course is intended to prepare elementary resource teachers to teach using the My Sidewalks (Levels A-E) and Early Reading Intervention programs, which are Tier 3 reading programs that are on the current list of USBE Evidence-Based Tiered Programs. The training will include a review of program features, materials, instructional routines, program assessments, and supports and resources. Training will include time for participants to practice using the instructional routines and receive implementation feedback. \r\nParticipants will also meet on a monthly basis throughout the 2020-2021 school year to collaborate and support one another with implementation, assessment and data analysis, and planning.\r\nParticipants will also participate in 3 coaching cycles (preconference, observation, and reflective conference) with a district reading coach during the 2020-2021 school year. \r\n
