The primary goal of quality mentoring for the Entry Years Enchancement (EYE) program is to support beginning teachers in the development of their skills and expertise so that they can become successful practitioners of effective instruction as required in the Utah Effective teaching Standards. This six-hour online course covers the USOE Competencies of a Quality Eye Mentor.

This six-hour online course covers the USOE Competencies of a Quality Eye Mentor.

This is an online course in Canvas. Once participants have registered in JPLS, they will need to contact instructors to request to be added to the class roster in Canvas. Once participants have been added to the course roster, they will receive an email from Canvas with an invitation to the class and information on creating a Canvas account if necessary.

Participants will complete 6 modules at their own pace; however, they will need to complete all of the course content prior to the end date of the course.
