Math, at all levels, should be taught conceptually with the use of various representations such as concrete models, drawings and diagrams, and equations. This course demonstrates the use of such representations and offers participants the opportunity to engage in creating their own models.

Participants will gain ideas for engaging students in activities that develop positive attitudes and dispositions, build essential understandings, and promote a growth mindset with regard to mathematics."
