The dance education online course will prepare K-6 teachers to use dance in their classroom. Course participants will learn the fundamental elements of dance, the Utah Core and National Standards in dance, and how to apply the elements and standards in dance lesson plans. As course participants learn these skills, they will have the opportunity to teach lessons of their own design. As a result they can witness the joy and learning that occurs with successful dance integration.
