Specifically, we will introduce 5 simple truths of helping that need to be addressed for professional development to succeed and 7 partnership principles that have proven to e essential for guiding learning conversations. Real learning conversations can have a huge impact on professional learning - this presentation outlines some essential ideas that should be addressed for those conversations to flourish. We will consider six questions to explore many reasons dissonance can exist between teachers and change agents. Embedded in the six questions are strategies for leading change that we have learned from the many educators we have met. Adopting the strategies increase the likelihood that teachers will adopt new and better way of teaching.
