BACKGROUND SCENARIO

Ms. Murray spent a half hour each day responding to parent emails regarding expectations in class, class content, and assignment due dates. Students were constantly asking when assignments were due and what the rules were regarding extra credit and late work. She realized that she needed a better way to communicate with students and parents about what was happening in class. After some consideration, she realized that a class website would be a good way to organize class materials, post assignments, and list class rules and expectations.
