Evaluation
This online course work is well organized, written and presented. The information is presented so as to build a foundation of computer and computer programming concepts. The student information is well presented using audio, video, written text and programming examples. The teacher resources are informative, accurate and assist in scaffolding to all student background and skill level. The added resources assist teaching the content in a very clear, comprehensive method. The summative assessment also helps teachers understand the student level of understand of content material. The method of summative assessment also helps students learning as they are able to return to material less understood. Rubric Results: • 90% of the CTE Computer Programming I standards & objectives were covered and reinforced. • Foundational material was presented for standards & objectives to be introduces and build upon computer programming concepts and technics. • 90% of the materials ( audio, video, text & code examples ) are engaging and lead students through the learning process of the Java programming language. • Lesson materials are age appropriate and well written to address student background and skill levels. • Formative and Summative assessment are delivered in a way the enable and enhance the students ability to learn and the teachers ability to evaluate effectiveness of content delivery. • Assignments and exercises reinforce and guide students in acquiring new levels of concept understanding.
