Participants will experience different mathematical tasks, and analyze the impact of different task levels have on student achievement. Emphasis on the teacher’s role in the maintenance or decline of the task level will be investigated and discussed. Participants will also gain an understanding of the 8 Standards for Mathematical Practice and their impact on task level and student achievement.
