Teachers will learn the importance of systematic phonics instruction. They will become familiar with a recommended scope and sequence of instruction for students in kindergarten through 3rd grade. Additionally, teachers will learn how to deliver phonics and phonemic awareness using the Fundations program. Each session, participants will study the objectives and lessons for the following 2/3 weeks of instruction. They will make specific plans for their grade level by reflecting on the previous 2/
