This is a guided book study of Taking Action - Implementing Effective Mathematics Practices K-5 by DeAnn Huinker and Victoria Bill. Participants will independently (or as a group) read a section of the textbook and then implement a practical piece of what they learned in their classroom and reflect on the process. Participants will study other classrooms through video clips and narratives and compare and contrast with their own teaching.
