The Co-Teaching Cohort for Secondary Mathematics is a course to support effective co-teaching strategies while ensuring access for all learners in grades 6-10 to grade level Utah Core Standards for Mathematics. The Co-Teaching Cohort for Secondary Mathematics is a course to support effective co-teaching strategies while ensuring access for all learners in grades 6-10 to grade level Utah Core Standards for Mathematics. The yearlong experience focuses on implementing best practices in co-delivered instruction, and co-accountability for student learning. Participation in this cohort requires a team of teachers, one mathematics and special educator to attend 7 days of professional learning. Two days will be in the summer before school starts and the remaining 5 days will be held once a month throughout the school year.
